All gatherable crops have failed and now no longer spawn. The plains, forest, mountain, beach and desert areas are barren and empty and 95% of the Zenith population is in jail. Most Europeans are divided between Zeniith (rhymes with beneath) and Zuh-neeth (also rhymes with beneath), the Spanish are adamant that it should be pronounced Zeñith, while the North Americans cannot understand how anyone could possibly be confused and that it should of course be pronounced Zeenith. ![]() Three thousand posts later and there are four prevailing opinions. The most memorable debate of the year on Zenith Discord was triggered by the seemingly simple question, “So how do you pronounce Zenith?”. Ramen interpret the sudden change in role selection as a sign that players do not like the tank and DPS roles anymore, and remove these subclasses from the game in an effort to streamline development. But the joke’s on them – the players, stubbornly enjoying their jail-time more than the intended gameplay, build a large community of support characters, the Guardians, who outheal everyone’s damage over time. The devs decide to try to force people out of jail by having players take damage over time whilst they are in jail. The allure of vast swathes of unexplored content falls flat on the playerbase, who are having too much fun to leave jail. The devs decide to keep this and it is rebranded as a new feature. The devs introduce the so-called bum-ban, which aims to detect and auto-ban players who are sitting down, but unfortunately instead of banning the player it merely cleans up their useless godstones. Grasping at straws to retain the few active players who are still “playing the game as intended”, active players are given the incentive of being awarded one random coin per 3.24 minutes of active playtime, but only if they play for at least two hours in any given day, standing up. Fast flying is brought back in order for people to be able to traverse the world without falling through. The Zenith devs attempt to correct this problem by rolling out shitloads of content, opening up vast new areas of the map, in an effort to coax players out of Zenith Jail.Īs a result of this rapid expansion, the world now has more holes than walkable ground. Zenith devs are shocked to find players escaping into jail, where players have found ever more creative ways to spend their time, which are far more interesting than the content that has been released to date. The Zenith devs promise to fix the hole soon. Of course, the devs forgot to fix a big gaping hole in one corner of Zenith Jail, so you can escape easily anyway, which is a bannable offence, for which the penalty is…going to Zenith Jail. You can of course exploit the system to earn more coins, but ironically the penalty for this is - you guessed it - being sent to Zenith Jail. Fifteen coins are needed to be released from Zenith Jail. These convict coins are time-gated, and only one coin can be collected per day. Upon completion of the players’ sentence, they still have to pay to get out, using yet another new Zenith currency, aptly named “convict coins”. Any players caught going afk, or coconut griefing, are trapped there for at least a week with all the other delinquents. Following this, a Zenith Jail is introduced. This backfires spectacularly, with “Coconut PvP” breaking out across all areas in Zenith, leading to chaos and anarchy. In order to address this infuriating problem, Zenith devs give in to the public clamour for PvP implementation, and allow players to use coconuts to attack and kill the despicable afk leechers. Unsurprisingly, and just like the previous nine cosmetic events of the last year, players have quickly found a secret spot to go afk and still harvest reward tokens. A new patch has just come out, containing bug fixes and a new ‘moonshine cosmetic’ to give players something to do as raid waiting times climb to an average of three hours.

The Bringing Tap Back program is funded by the Tennessee Department of Health's Project Diabetes Program, which funds initiatives to lower obesity and diabetes rates statewide. Tuesday at the Crown and Goose Underground, 123 S. TCWN will have a launch party for the app 5:30-7:30 p.m. ![]() Pettigrew said the app will improve with crowdsourcing, as users add other public fountains - there's even a way to upload a photo of the water fountain. Right now, fountains are heavily concentrated around downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee campus, though it also features fountains TCWN installed as part of the Bringing Tap Back program, including those in Nashville, Memphis and Jackson, Tenn. "It's been in the beta testing phase for a few months," Pettigrew said. The free app is available for both iPhones and Androids. The nonprofit TCWN came up with the idea and specifications for the app, said Kimberly Pettigrew, TCWN's director of community health programs, then partnered with University of Memphis student Jason Knisley to develop it. The app can even show which outdoor fountains have dog bowls attached. Tennessee Clean Water Network has developed a smartphone app through its Bringing Tap Back program that displays a map with public water fountains or water bottle refill stations noted. Now you can carry a fountain-finder in your phone. ![]() Out and about and wanting a cool drink of water? Whatever the mechanism(s), the clinical ramifications of these physiological observations have not been explored fully. Testing a panel of known gut or pituitary peptide hormones did not reveal a likely culprit. It has been hypothesized to be a peptide hormone or a centrally mediated reflex, but one cannot discount the possibility that there is no mystery factor and instead the error signal driving kaliuresis is a small increase in the potassium concentration in the renal peritubular capillaries, not readily detectable by venous sampling. The gut-responsive ‘kaliuretic factor’ has not been identified. Enteral loads elicited a kaliuretic response of greater magnitude. In one particularly meticulous study, potassium loads were administered to rats via an enteral or intravenous route in such a way as to induce identical increases in plasma. This provides evidence for an aldosterone-independent, gut-to-kidney feedforward kaliuretic signal (Prong 3).Īlthough only recently confirmed in humans, this mode of feedforward control has been known about for several decades in sheep and has been studied in some detail in rodents. Despite there being no change in venous plasma, there was an increase in renal potassium excretion, which was not prevented by treatment with the mineraolocorticoid receptor (MR) antagonist eplerenone. When the same potassium load was administered as part of a complex meal, there was no change in plasma, probably reflecting insulin-mediated transcellular potassium shifts (Prong 2). When subjects were administered 35 mmol K +, plasma rose by ∼0.5 mM and was accompanied by increases in plasma and renal K + excretion (Prong 1: the classic aldosterone-dependent negative feedback loop). ![]() Recent studies in healthy human subjects have helped to delineate three prongs to the response to a dietary potassium load. Thus the large intracellular potassium store constitutes a potential threat but is also a lifesaving buffer. We survive the banana smoothie because of a rapid response that shifts potassium into cells and into the urine. Without this defence, we would rarely make it past breakfast: a banana smoothie delivering 35 mmol of potassium to an extracellular fluid volume of 12 L would induce a potentially fatal e increase of ∼3 mM. Ĭonsequently we have evolved robust mechanisms to defend against potassium influx into the extracellular space (reviewed in McDonough and Youn ). A modern Western diet contains ∼120 mmol potassium per day and throughout most of our evolutionary history this was a great deal more (∼300 mmol per day in the palaeolithic diet). The second is external: our potassium-rich diet. ![]() The first is internal: 98% of total body potassium (3–4 mol) is stored within cells, predominantly skeletal muscle. This control is under continual threat from two sources of potassium influx. ![]() The extracellular potassium concentration, e, is kept under tight control to maintain the resting membrane potential (RP) of excitable cells. The three-pronged response to an acute potassium load The newer potassium binders could play a role in attempts to minimize reduced prescribing of renin–angiotensin inhibitors and mineraolocorticoid antagonists in this context. Hyperkalemia-or the fear of hyperkalemia-contributes to the underprescription of potentially beneficial medications, particularly in heart failure. ![]() In addition to its well-established effects on cardiac excitability, hyperkalemia could also contribute to peripheral neuropathy and cause renal tubular acidosis. Hyperkalemia is associated with an increased risk of death, and this is only in part explicable by hyperkalemia-induced cardiac arrhythmia. Accordingly, the major risk factors for hyperkalemia are renal failure, diabetes mellitus, adrenal disease and the use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers or potassium-sparing diuretics. Hyperkalemia occurs when renal potassium excretion is limited by reductions in glomerular filtration rate, tubular flow, distal sodium delivery or the expression of aldosterone-sensitive ion transporters in the distal nephron. We highlight aspects that are of particular relevance for clinical practice. In this article we discuss these advances within a concise review of the pathophysiology, risk factors and consequences of hyperkalemia. There have been significant recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms that maintain potassium homoeostasis and the clinical consequences of hyperkalemia. install.sh– enter your password into the terminal (it wont show as you type it but it is recognizing the input)– click enter– ?– profit Works perfectly on Mac Studio (M1 Ultra) – Ventura 13.0.– Just download– Open terminal– drag to terminal and press enter– then use the command chmod +x. install.sh then press enter and enter the password of your computer, the one you use to login after its done just close terminal and turn back on you wifiĭont forget there’s a space after the “cd” and a space after you drag the crack folder ![]() Turn off your wifi or unplug your network cableinstall the new version, no need to uninstall the old oneafter install, open terminal and type: cd (drag the crack folder in the terminal) and copy and paste this command:chmod +x. Though far too extensive to cover here, we will mention a few of the more popular and familiar Jaspers, some with their own pages and additional metaphysical properties. Many are named for the regions where they are mined others are named by those who discovered them. There is a wide variety of Jaspers, characterized by color, form, and similarities to places or animals found in nature. Its name is derived from the Greek iaspis, meaning “agate,” the Assyrian ashpu, and the Hebrew jashpeh. Jasper is colored by oxides of iron and known for its deep earthy tones of red, yellow, brown and green, sometimes in shades of blue or purple, and displays wonderful contrasts in its banding, inclusions, “pictures,” and small circular patterns. It occurs in nodules or as fillings in fissures and may be found all over the world, in nearly every color. Fibrous and grainy varieties of Quartz are often grouped together and referred to as Chalcedony, though Jasper’s microcrystals are laid out in large, sugar-like grains rather than the fibrous layers of Chalcedony or Agate. Jasper is a dense, opaque, microcrystalline variety of Quartz. To the medieval world and the Native Americans, Jasper was “the rain bringer” and highly regarded as a stone for dowsing. It was the twelfth stone in the Breastplate of the Jewish High Priest, and the apostle Peter is supposed to have derived his name from Jasper, the rock upon which Christ would build his church. It was highly utilized in many cultures for engraving cylinder seals, signet rings, and special talismans depicting astrological and religious images. Amulets of Jasper were carved by the Egyptians with symbols and inscriptions from the Book of the Dead and buried with mummified remains for safe passage in the after life. Worn by shamans, priests and kings, it was considered sacred and a powerful protection stone, for both the physical world and in the spiritual realm. Historically, Jasper is traceable to all ancient peoples and civilizations. Its presence balances the aura to a level of wholeness and peace, and acts as a reminder that one is not here on the physical plane simply for oneself, but to bring joy and substance to others. Known as the “Supreme Nurturer,” Jasper is a stone of grounding and stability, providing comfort and security, strength and healing. It encourages one to celebrate moments of isolation to absorb, reflect, and connect with these energies and enkindles an awareness of the spiritual connection we hold with all living things. It enables one to be more present in the physical body and conscious of Nature and one’s surroundings. Each stone is a masterpiece of the Creator, bold and primitive in style, solid and earthy in form, with a warm, harmonious energy that resonates with the primal self.Īn elemental Earth stone, Jasper’s frequency is slow and constant, aligned with the electromagnetic energies of the planet. The unique artistry of Jasper is that of Nature itself – golden sunshine, a nighttime sky, poppy fields or a deep green forest, desert sands, the undulating ocean, red rock canyons, sweeping mountains. ![]() Shop for Jasper Introduction to the Meaning and Uses of Jasper Your On-Line Guide to The Healing Energies, Metaphysical Properties, Legendary Uses and Meaning of Jasper ![]() The Crystal Vaults Comprehensive Illustrated Guide to Crystals I intuitively select and inspect your crystal for quality, to ensure you are receiving the best crystal possible. I decided to try an iPad / AirPlay / AppleTV2 approach after being pointed to PlayOn’s built-in web interface, which is primarily intended for mobile devices. ![]() The iOS 4.3 developer release notes, however, read to me like video format support is pretty limited. In the last post, I explored MediaMall’s PlayOn as a way to expand the Roku’s repetoire. Although Netflix announced a CBS deal in February, it’s only for old shows. The downside of the Roku is that it’s limited to Netflix and HuluPlus for most of the TV content that we’re interested in watching, neither of which source CBS shows. Except for an ongoing and very annoying intermittent sound dropout problem in HuluPlus (which I’ve been told is a Roku HLS bug), the Roku has served our occasional Internet TV viewing pretty well and earned a higher WAF score than any other method we’ve tried. The few buttons on the Roku remote were easily mapped into our HarmonyOne remote, the main controller of our media device collection. The closest we have come is a workable solution using the Roku, which provides the best combination of video quality and no-keyboard-or-mouse-required navigation. I’ve been kissing a lot of frogs in search for an easy-to-use method to consume Internet TV and haven’t yet found a perfect solution, or even a great one.
